Bay Area brewers Almanac Beer Co. and Drakes Brewing Co. were among the locals represented among the class of 2018. Other local winners include: fishmonger TwoXSea, cheese maker Bellwether Farms, salumi maker Fra’ Mani Handcrafted Foods, and Yume Boshi, which specializes in Japanese preserved plum products. Healdsburg’s modern grange, SHED, took awards in three categories for its pickled shiitake mushrooms, smoked trout and smoked black cod, and plum shiso shrub. Read more.
