GOOD FOOD FOUNDATION CELEBRATES 15 YEARS OF GOOD FOOD AWARDS
San Francisco, CA (November 19, 2024) – For a long time, certifications for responsible practices and awards for superior taste have remained distinct – one honors social and environmental responsibility, while the other celebrates craftsmanship and flavor. In 2010, the Good Food Awards changed all of that by recognizing that truly good food – the kind that brings people together and builds strong, healthy communities – contains all of these ingredients. Recognizing exceptional food crafters who top the charts in a Blind Tasting and meet the environmental and social responsibility standards of the Good Food Awards, created a meaningful way to advance the good food movement and impact change in our food system.
In 2025, the Good Food Awards will reflect on its history—not only to celebrate past winning products but to honor the people behind them. “15 Years of Good Food Awards is a celebration of the passion and innovation of the countless artisans who have transformed the landscape of American food,” said Nora Weiser, Executive Director of the Good Food Foundation. “We’re proud to celebrate this milestone, and as we look ahead will continue refining our categories, aligning with industry standards, and implementing new systems to build transparency and consistency in all we do.”
2025 Good Food Awards Timeline:
- Entry Period: October 30 – December 20, 2024

Products which have won a Good Food Award in any past year (2010-2024) are eligible to participate in the 15 Years of Good Food Awards. These past GFA-winning products will be voted on in spring 2025 by members of the Good Food Guild and Good Food Merchants Alliance. This Community Choice voting process will reflect the admiration of industry peers as well as the continued relevance of the products to retailers.
To keep celebrating America’s best and ensuring the future of good food, the Good Food Foundation relies on tax-deductible donations from the public and sponsorships from industry partners. This support helps sustain the recognition of these inspiring food makers and fuels the growth of responsible and delicious food across the nation.
