Good Food Qualified
crafters united in commerce and community
Members of the Specialty Food Association (SFA) are eligible to become Good Food Qualified (GFQ). This distinguishes them as meeting high standards for sustainability, taste, authenticity and responsiblity as food crafters. A variety of benefits await the values-based businesses that join SFA and earn Good Food Qualification, including the exclusive opportunity to show at the industry-only Good Food Mercantiles co-located with SFA’s Fancy Food Shows.
With nearly 500 GFQ members making everything from pickled okra to brass-extruded Khourasian wheat pasta to waste obliterating (and delicious!) whey-based popsicles, these crafters are united in their commitment to meet or exceed the Good Food standards for tasty, authentic and responsible food. They are an economic force within the specialty food community shaping American food culture for the better.
