ENTRIES OPEN FOR THE 2026 GOOD FOOD AWARDS ON JULY 7

The country’s best crafters are invited to submit their products for the next Blind Tasting & Judging
San Francisco, CA (July 7, 2025) – The Good Food Foundation today announced a nationwide call for entries to the 2026 Good Food Awards (GFAs) in search of America’s most delicious, authentic, responsibly produced craft food and drinks. This year marks a return to the Blind Tasting & Judging format traditionally used in the GFAs.
Since 2011, the GFAs have set the standard for excellence, honoring products that combine social and environmental responsibility with craftsmanship and flavor. Panels of judges take part in blind tastings to score and select each year’s winners against exacting good food standards. The GFAs span 18 categories: beer, charcuterie, cheese, chocolate, cider, coffee, confections, elixirs, drinks, grains, honey, fish, oils, pantry, pickles, preserves, spirits and snacks.
In 2025, all category criteria were reviewed by subject matter experts and aligned with industry standards to ensure they are both meaningful and attainable. Learn more about criteria updates at: https://goodfoodfdn.org/foundation/news/2026-good-food-awards-standards-updated/.
To enter the Good Food Awards, crafters fill out a 10-minute entry form at https://goodfood.awardsplatform.com/ between now and July 31, 2025. The $105 entry fee covers the cost of processing, storing, sorting and transporting products to the annual Blind Tasting & Judging, where industry professionals and category experts will identify this year’s top scorers. Judge feedback is also available for an additional $15 fee.
An Early Bird discount is available to all makers through Wednesday, July 9. Active Guild members receive one free entry as part of their membership benefits. Members will be notified by email and receive a discount code to claim their free entry.
Crafters are encouraged to review the latest Awards Standards by category to ensure products meet the GFAs updated requirements. Entries will close on July 31, 2025.
Winners from 15 Years of Good Food Awards were announced last week at Good Food Mercantile New York City. The full list of winners is available at https://goodfoodfdn.org/awards/winners/2025/.
